Profile® Products announced the addition of Ferdi van Elswijk to its Profile® Growing Solutions (PGS) business. Profile welcomes van Elswijk as its global head of hydroponics. Van Elswijk is a critical hire, working closely with Dr. Michael Robeson, senior vice president of Profile’s Innovation team, to expand the PGS hydroponics business. 

“Ferdi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Profile,” said Robeson. “He’s a lifelong, passionate horticulturist and has led high-performing international business efforts. He is highly competent, effective and is the right person to lead our hydroponics business.”

Van Elswijk is a 30-year veteran of the horticulture industry. Prior to joining Profile, van Elswijk spent the last seven years working for Koppert Biological Systems as a key account manager for North America and crop team manager of hydroponic vegetables. He obtained significant operational and grower experience as part of the Prominent Growers Association for 11 years.
