Profile Products Celebrates Second Community Impact Week with Donations and Volunteer Efforts
This winter, Profile® Products reaffirmed its commitment to giving back through its second annual Community Impact Week, bringing employees and customers together to create meaningful change on a global scale. Over the course of the initiative, hundreds of Profile employees and customers contributed more than 300 volunteer hours and $8,275 to support organizations across the country and beyond.
“Community Impact Week embodies the heart of Profile Products—working together to support the communities where we live, work and play,” said Shane Porzio, president and CEO of Profile Products. “I’m incredibly proud of the passion and dedication our team and customers demonstrated to make this initiative a success.”
Efforts were focused in areas where Profile operates in the United States, including Blue Mountain, Mississippi; Limestone, Tennessee; Conover, North Carolina; Monticello, Georgia; Bowling Green, Florida; and Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The initiative also extended internationally, with employees in the Netherlands, India, Canada and those working remotely joining in to support their local communities. In total, 46 organizations benefited from either volunteer hours or financial contributions.
Volunteers gave back in diverse ways, including collecting coats for kids, working at food pantries and food banks, and harvesting food at local farms. Notable efforts included packing 30,456 meals into 141 boxes for Feed My Starving Children and donating 168 cases of water and $2,955 to the Catawba County Fraternal Order of Police and Hickory Soup Kitchen. Additional monetary donations supported impactful causes such as the American Red Cross, Feeding America, North Carolina hurricane relief, Seed Your Impact and many others.
“The generosity shown during this year’s Community Impact Week speaks volumes about our team’s commitment to building stronger communities,” said Rebecca Young, chief human resources officer at Profile Products. “It’s inspiring to see how small actions collectively lead to larger, lasting impacts.”
Profile’s commitment to service is an ongoing part of its mission to “Foster a Passion for a Better Tomorrow,” creating positive and lasting effects around the globe.
