This document specifies the hydraulically-applied erosion control product CocoFlex® Extended Term-Flexible Growth Medium™ (ET-FGM™). CocoFlex ET-FGM is a biodegradable material, composed of 100% recycled Thermally Refined™ wood fibers, coconut fibers, crimped biodegradable interlocking fibers derived from regenerated cellulose sourced from sustainably harvested wood, naturally derived cross-linked biopolymers and water absorbents.  The ET-FGM is patented, made in the US, plastic-free, and phytosanitized to eliminate potential weed seeds and pathogens. CocoFlex requires no curing period and upon application forms an intimate bond with the soil surface to create a continuous, porous, absorbent and flexible erosion resistant blanket that allows for rapid germination and accelerated plant growth.
